NEGILAYOGI HISTORY & FACTS

Few likeminded people who were interested in social service activities and community development like Dr. H.B. Rajashekar, Shri. A.N. Prakash Gowda IPS, Dr. Bala Krishna Gowda, Chethan, Raju, Smt. Indramma, D. Ravi Kumar and others met at Chetan Garden near the foot of Chamundi Hills and had a discussion about the present status of Vokkaliga Community in the society, why it is not organised well, why development is not happening etc., and what as to be done to organise the community, and how the community can be developed etc., was discussed thread bear and it was decided that we should not keep quiet and we should not feel that the organising the community is the work of Vokkaligara Sangha and that the Adichunchanagiri Mutt, instead we should do what best can be done by each and every one we should join hands and work for the overall development of the community and we should also work to create harmonies atmosphere among various community and society as a whole. It was also decided to form a trust of likeminded persons and open an office and work in a planned may and constituency and work for the overall development of the community work to create harmonious, religion and caste and the long turn for the overall development of the society.

THE RISE OF NEGILAYOGI

Shri Raju, one of the participant informed the meeting that he has a trust registered to so the necessity to have and he is ready to give it to the cause. And his suggestion has accepted and out of two trustees in trust one trustee to be relieved and four new trustees that is Dr. H.B. Rajashekar, A.N. Prakash Gowda, Dr. Bala Krishna Gowda and Shri Chethan to be included and fresh registration to be done.

Similarly Dr. Bala Krishna Gowda, one of the participant in the needing offered to give space freely for the office of the new trust and similarly it was decided to start the office at Kuvenpunagar, Mysore.

Further it was decided to change the name of the trust and to improved and exclude few objectives and offer grosser to the new trust.

After various discussion with likeminded literary persons and ofnes, it was decided to have the name Negilayogi Samaja Seva Trust (R). And like wise a new trust was registerd in the name of Negilayogi Samaja Seva Trust, and Dr. H.B. Rajashekar was made as President, Shri M.B. Chethan  General Secretory and Shri Raju as Treasurer and other were made as Trustees, and the office was started, some of the members donated in the farm of cash and kind to the office and initially some activities that is carrier guidance and training for entrance and competitive, Academic Exams were started and Vokaligara Matrimonial wing was also started and other activities also started, and the office started functioning and regular meeting were held and discussion were held and decision were taken.

DEVELOPMENT AND ACTIVITIES

It was decided to start a monthly Kannada Magazine and to publish activities of the Trust and offer information useful to farmers, students, job aspirants, women’s, employment news, carrier guidance, information of the persons who have Exide in various fields and work have done appreciable works, health information etc., offer consulting people of various fields, it was decided to register the monthly with the registrar of news paper and it was regesterd the name of Negila Bhagya within the

The main person behind the starting of the monthly was Sri. Raju and taken on Dr. Y.D. Rajanna and often joined to extend their support and co-operation to run the magazine, but the man who brought the monthly was Shri Raju and others also contributed to the magazine, taken on personal concession was obtained and at a later state, permission to post without stamp was also obtained. The magazine was inaugurated by ————————- is an colour full and well attended function.

Negilayogi Marudeshwara Vokkaliga Matrimonial ring was started in the initial days it was done freely, but it did not yield the accepted result, because everybody was coming and seeing the profiles and their name was not registered. Their bride or bride groom, hence some restrictions were imposed and only who are registered were allowed to see the profiles and a nominal registration fee and maintenance fee was charged.

Later on an M.O.U. has reached with reached with Samaja Smparka Vedike of B’lore who were Matruniol wings for elite good time, and facility to those  are registered with either Trust were allowed to profiles and have the matrimonial wing as gone online, hence those who interested bride and bride grooms can registered their profile through online. Now those bride / bride grooms registered with Negilayogi can see profiles in Mysore, Mandya and Bangalore. Further that are plans to open matrimonial wings in Hassan, Kolar, Tumkur, Chikkamagalore, Ramnagar District head quarters and at taluk head quarters also.
